A handy, well-illustrated booklet entitled: Welder Guide No 1 has been published by ESAB giving a "how-to-use" guide on its OK Tubrod rutile-cored wires for stainless steel.

ESAB Welder Guide booklets are designed to fit in the pocket and provide practical information to both qualified and partly-trained welders on the use of specific OK Tubrod cored wires. The booklets should also prove helpful to engineers establishing welding procedures, welding foremen and to training instructors.

ESAB Welder Guide No.1 contains information on the use of the ESAB OK Tubrod 14.2X All-position and 14.3X Downhand Welding Series. Sections include the correct use of equipment, gas-nozzle and contact-tip combination, welding parameter setting, application chart, recommended average parameter settings, ASME and EN welding procedure, welding advice, torch positions for positional welding, weaving techniques, grinding, and troubleshooting.
