Howmet Castings, an Alcoa business, has announced that Gary Warness has been appointed vice president Howmet Aluminum. Gary will report to James R. Stanley, CEO.
"In his role as vice president, Howmet Aluminum, Gary will be responsible for all Howmet Aluminum-related activities in our US, Canadian and European plants", says Stanley.
Prior to joining Howmet, Gary was vice president and general manager of York Refrigeration's North American operations. Before that, Gary was vice president operations for Othy Inc., in Warsaw, Indiana. Gary also worked for General Electric for 13 years in manufacturing management positions in Cincinnati, Ohio, and in the UK.
