Brookhouse Holdings plc, of Darwen, UK, informs us that it has produced a CD-ROM, which will allow existing and potential customers to undertake interactive virtual visits to the company's manufacturing and production facilities in composites engineering and detailed assembly for the aerospace industry at Darwen, Tameside and Cambridge.
The easy-to-use CD, which is suitable for PCs and Macs, provides brief information on each of the companies within the Brookhouse group, as well as giving details of each company's accreditations and providing contact information.
The CD has two virtual reality components: the virtual tour and the virtual product. The virtual tour allows users to see inside each factory and it is possible to view a range of facilities, such as clean rooms, machine tools and co-ordinate measuring equipment. The virtual product feature allows users to examine typical products produced by the Brookhouse companies. This examination also includes a capability to turn the manufactured products through 3608 so that all aspects of their design can be seen.
