Keywords: EADS, Air France Industries

Air France Industries recently ordered a third ATEC Series 6 test station with 18 test programs for the test of Boeing 777 avionics, from EADS Test & Services. Deliveries will start by the end of the year until the first quarter of the year 2002.

Air France Industries has been a regular customer of the ATEC line of test systems and has already bought eight ATEC 5000 and two ATEC Series 6 for the maintenance of its avionics.

The company has also received an order from US equipment manufacturer Honeywell for the first three of a series of six ATEC test stations dedicated to the production and support of a new generation of modular avionics systems ("AIMS 2") for commercial aircraft.

The first station will be delivered to Phoenix, Arizona, and will be used for test program development. Other deliveries will follow from end of the year to the year 2002 to equip the Honeywell production facilities and support centers.
