Enerpac has announced the release of the on-line version of its authoritative E-211 workholding reference guide. This comprehensive electronic reference source features the company's complete line of cylinders, valves, pumps and system components used in workholding applications of every description.

The new on-line E-211 features the ability to link general workholding product information directly to CAD files. And unlike other catalogs that require multiple systems in order to link catalog content to CAD files, the on-line E-211 is all-inclusive. This feature provides engineers, designers or other specifiers with a single, convenient solutions source to "plug" product drawings and specifications directly into their CAD designs.

Just like the printed version of the E-211, the on-line E-211 is designed to expedite, simplify and enhance workholding system design and operation. Product data are available in both metric and imperial, making the on-line E-211 a truly global resource for workholding solutions.

Thomas Eggert, commercial marketing manager for Enerpac Workholding, said that the on-line E-211 was designed to provide users with a level of functionality comparable to the printed version. "It is designed, not from a manufacturer's perspective, but from the design engineer's and user's perspective. It is not a product guide, but rather a users' resource guide", he explained.

He added that the on-line E-211 includes capacity and specifications data on thousands of Enerpac Workholding products. Unlike other catalogs, however, this information is merged with a wealth of support material that helps users not only select components, but also design, install, adapt and maintain workholding systems.
