British European Aviation Services, part of the Walker Aviation Group, reports that it has signed a two-year exclusive contract with SAS Commuter to provide C checks on the airlines 28-strong Bombardier Q400 fleet.

The agreement represents the first third party business for BEAS on Bombardier aircraft and the company is delighted to be supporting SAS's high profile fleet. "We aim to offer flexible maintenance solutions that help airlines keep their costs down," said Aviation Services commercial director Andrew Strong. He noted that the organisation is actively looking to support more Bombardier aircraft.

British European Aviation Services is supporting British European's Bombardier Q Series fleet, including the first of four Q400s, which started revenue service from Birmingham on 14 December, 2001. It is also in dialogue with Bombardier's other European customers to build on areas of common interest.
