Senior management positions

In order to expand its presence in both new and existing markets within the electronics industry, a UK independent manufacturer of printed circuit boards, Leamington Spa-based Circast Electronics, has appointed two new business development managers. The company has also recently invested in a microvia laser drilling system and added additional electronic bare board test capacity.

Occupying the newly-created positions are John Campbell and Russ Magee, both of whom have held a number of senior management positions and who boast over 50 years of combined experience within the UK electronics industry. In their new roles, and reporting directly to the Managing Director, Andrew Hall, John and Russ will focus on generating new business within Circast's traditional markets of defence, aerospace, automotive, telecommunications and industrial electronics and contracts manufacturers (Plate 1).

They will also assume responsibility for exploiting new market opportunities by promoting Circast's strengths and capabilities within the field of PCB design, manufacture and testing, particularly in relation to high technology, multi-layer PCBs.
