Avexus Inc., a leading provider of software solutions for the management of after-market services operations, recently announced that Goodrich Corporation's aircraft wheel and brake services team has upgraded its existing Impresa implementation to the most current version, 7i3. Spanning eight locations worldwide, Goodrich's wheel and brake services team operates one of the world's largest third- party wheel and brake service networks. Impresa 7i3 will reportedly enable the service provider to further improve service levels and operational efficiencies at multiple locations while facilitating centralized management and consolidated reporting from its team headquarters in Troy, Ohio, USA.

Goodrich's wheel and brake services team has successfully used Impresa for several years to manage the repair and overhaul of commercial, business and military aircraft wheels and brakes. By upgrading to Impresa 7i3, the service provider will be able to take advantage of enhanced functionalities and the ability to run its domestic and international sites on one platform.

This centralized management will provide the Goodrich wheel and brake services team with a consolidated view of work execution, including planning and scheduling, manpower requirements, WIP and inventory requirements. Impresa's ability to offer real-time consolidated data will enhance the Goodrich team's ability to make proactive business decisions designed to maximize productivity, identify available capacity across its sites and ensure customer satisfaction. Similarly, operational efficiency decisions can be made using the latest financial data to determine the productivity and operating costs of each site.

“We are very pleased with Impresa's ability to consolidate and share real-time work execution and operational data among our multiple sites,” said Ernie D'Amico, Vice-President, Goodrich wheel and brake services. “The centralized management capabilities offered by the Impresa upgrade will give us the ability to more proactively manage our business and share best practices between the sites, enabling us to better serve our customers”.

“Our continued and expanded relationship with the Goodrich wheel and brake services team clearly validates Impresa as a best of breed solution for managing multi-site, global MRO operations,” said Andrew Dumke, Avexus' chairman and CEO. “Impresa gives organizations the functionality and data necessary to streamline operations and reduce costs, and that has been a key driver in the successful adoption of Impresa across some of the biggest providers of commercial and military MRO services”.

A Web-based, scalable software solution, Impresa consists of a suite of integrated components that aid in all lifecycle phases of complex assets. Impresa's software modules assist with material planning and forecasting, inventory management, inventory control, advanced planning and scheduling, procurement, regulatory compliance, and remanufacturing. Built on Oracle technology, the Impresa architecture enables scalable Web-based collaboration among customers, supply chain partners and multi-site operations.
