Aerodag CERAMISHIELD, from Acheson, is a new generation ceramic dry film protective coating for all MIG/ MAG welding processes that is said to bring new benefits to welders. Acheson reports that in contrast to traditional “anti-spatter” products, which only protect the item being welded, Aerodag CERAMISHIELD (previously known as PULVE BN D 60 A) also protects the valuable welding equipment.

Just one application of Aerodag CERAMISHIELD before a typical eight-hour shift will, according to Acheson, help save time, improve productivity and reduce costs. The company states that it can:

  increase productivity by 5-10 per cent;

  reduce consumable costs by 70 per cent; and

• •

  eliminate capital cleaning equipment costs.
