STG Aerospace receives major order from Air Canada

STG Aerospace has won a major supply contract from Air Canada. The carrier has ordered STG Aerospace's SafTGlo system – “glow-in-the-dark” (photoluminescent) floorpath marking strips that guide passengers to emergency exits in aircraft. The deal is one of the largest single orders in STG Aerospace's 10-year history and is one of the first for STG's new color SafTGlo.

Gary Girard, President of STG Aerospace Inc., said: “This is a very significant order for STG. Not only are we to supply and fit SafTGlo to the domestic fleet of a major world airline, but Air Canada is regularly voted the best carrier in North America, and is recognized as one of the world's safest airlines. That a leading airline dedicated to customer service and safety is placing its business with STG is a testament to the excellence of SafTGlo and its remarkable service record.”
