RAeS Committee membership

Article Type: University and research news From: Aircraft Engineering and Aerospace Technology: An International Journal, Volume 81, Issue 3

At a recent Professional Standards Board meeting of the Royal Aeronautical Society, it was agreed that a member of the Association of Aerospace Universities be invited to sit on its Accreditation Committee. This is the committee that oversees all of the society’s accreditation activity, in relation to both academic and professional development/training schemes (more information can be found on the society’s web site).

At the same meeting, the Chairman of the Society’s Grading Committee also requested that it would be extremely helpful for another academic to sit on his committee, which deals with all the society’s individual membership applications.
