The theme of the conference is “The Future of Enterprise Systems and Accounting: New Directions and Challenges for Education”. Wide Enterprise Systems are at present the prevailing form of the transactional computing platform of most organizations worldwide. Accounting is largely performed via enterprise systems. The conference seeks to investigate thoroughly the linkage and interaction between Enterprise Systems (ES), Accounting and Education. Presenters and attendees are expected to come from both the MIS and the Accounting fields. To facilitate program cohesion and organization, submissions will fall into the following streams: ES and Accounting, ES and Business, ES and Education. Submission Instructions Submitted papers (3000-5000 words) must not have been previously published anywhere. Workshops and panel discussion proposals should be between 1500-2500 words. Submissions received by the deadline will be double blind reviewed by international referees. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, providing that at least one author registers and attends the conference. Panels should include 3-5 panelists and will last between 1 and 1½ hours. Papers, workshops and panel discussion proposals should be submitted by e-mail to the conference secretariat (icesa04@acc.teithe.gr) in Word for Windows document format. The first page of each submission should include the following: 1.paper title, 2.author name(s), 3.affiliation(s), 4.address(es), 5.telephone / fax number(s) and 6.e-mail address(es). The main body of the paper should include the title, the abstract and 3-5 keywords, but no author identification.
