Orobtech SA has received an order from Vogt Electronic Fuba GmbH for two additional InSpire-9060™ automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and multiple VRS-4™ Series verification and repair stations to be utilized for outer layer inspection in the manufacturer's Gittelde printed circuit board production plant in Germany.
More recently, the company announced the receipt of a major order from Dongguan Meadville Circuits Limited, a company of the Meadville Technology Group, totalling approximately $3.8 million in value, for multiple SK-75™ automated optical inspection (AOI) systems, Vision-300 XL™ large format AOI systems, VRS-4™ verification and repair stations, LP-7008Ef™ laser plotters, Genesis 2000 computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software and a PT-1427™ artwork AOI system. These systems will be utilized in DMC's new printed circuit board manufacturing facility in Southern China for the production of high density interconnect and backplane panels for the computer, telecommunication, and mobile phone markets, and other applications.
CMK Corporation, the largest printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer in Japan, placed an order totalling approximately $1.6 million in value, for multiple SK-75™ automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and VRS-4™ verification and repair stations to be utilized in four of the Company's production facilities.
