Purpose – advises on how to develop workplace coaches, listing the skills involved in coaching, the methods that can be used to develop these skills and how to use these skills. Design/methodology/approach – sets out a process for training employees in coaching skills. Discusses how to use coaching skills effectively and how to measure the impact of coaching. Findings – argues that it is possible to train people to become successful workplace coaches, underlining that the process follows the same outline as other forms of training.
