“Perceptions Coaching provides a unique service that will motivate your management team and increase their productivity, by combining practical people management training with leadership exercises, group learning and one-to-one coaching.” The site’s presentation is not fantastic, but does allow for fairly easy navigation. Focusing on providing the reader with information about the company’s training schemes and how they could help your business the information is laid out very clearly and is well structured. However, very little information is provided under the “about us” section which we found quite strange; it would be nice to know a little about the company and its credentials before using them as a training provider. This site may be worth a quick look if you are researching training programs, just do not expect anything too wonderful.

It is laid out in a very colorful and visually appealing way so the first impression one gets of this site is both welcoming and professional. This impression continues throughout the site; the company has definitely struck the right balance between form and function with its design. The information offered about the company and the courses it provides is comprehensive and detailed, the site is nice and simple to find ones’ way round and a brochure is available for download through Adobe Acrobat. A mixture of both “ready to run” courses and tailor made courses can be provided by the company along with e-learning programs. If the services provided by this company are as well planned and organized as their web site then they could be on to a winner.
Worth looking at
With a fresh and fun image this site looks promising. A large quantity of information about the services on offer is provided without making the site appear overcrowded. Good use of pictures helps to grab the reader’s attention and the layout is well thought out. Their previous client list is quite impressive, with some high profile names listed. A free consultation service is on offer; you can also find out if your business qualifies for a free taster course. The core basis of the training they offer is explained on the site along with the ways they could help develop your business. Prices of their courses are clearly set out and a “jargon buster” is provided for a clearer understanding of their course mechanisms. Overall this company could well be worth researching further when one is considering staff development strategies and programs.
Little substance
“We are a people and organisational development business. We help teams move forward and coach individuals to grow and progress”. Although this site initially looks quite promising, delving deeper reveals a site rather lacking in substance. The aesthetics are great; a video demo is the first item one comes across when entering the site and the photos the company has used are excellent. However, there is very little actual information on the site regarding the training that they offer, most of the information provided instead focuses on the broader aims of the company. The case studies are very detailed though and the company seems to have received glowing reports from their previous clients. It is quite possible that the web site is not the company’s main form of advertising but if so, they should have another think about it.
General release
A press release site for training companies this is a good place to look if searching for news within the training sector. Large quantities of press releases are posted on this site and there is a page to post news about your own company; you do have to register to use this service although registration is free. The articles themselves though are available for anyone to view and there is a search engine provided to search for specific items in the various sectors. The site itself is bright and vibrant, easy to use and to select relevant articles from. Articles are posted regarding various companies across the globe. This is definitely a site that merits earmarking for reference.
