The National Climatic Data Centre offers this page on "Extreme Weather and Climate Events" which, the NCDC tells us, has become the most popular segment of the centre's Web site. These pages cover US hurricanes, heavy rainfall, temperature extremes, tornadoes 1991-1999, weather events, historical global extremes, satellite images, US radar composites, climatic data, local US storm reports, climate characteristics of 1999, El Nino/La Nina, global climate change, and billion dollar weather disasters.
