MANAGEMENT TRAINING: Management education in Nottingham University
Abstract
With encouragement from local industrialists and training officers, the University of Nottingham agreed in 1965 to begin developing short courses for managers. It was suggested that courses organised by universities could have, and should have, a more intellectual content than courses available elsewhere, and this would make a useful alternative, or complement, to courses already available in the region at colleges of, technology, P.E.R.A., etc.
