Abstract
“INVESTING capital in buildings, equipment, machinery, new product development and personnel training presents management with some of its most difficult problems. Capital investment uses today's funds to generate tomorrow's profits; it requires the most careful appraisal if the possibility of making mistakes is to be minimized and the future of the company is to be assured.
