Abstract

How should the more able grammar school pupils best be guided on courses and careers? Mr Ward discusses some of the problems brought out by Mr Merriman's article in our last issue, particularly in relation to pupils whose subsequent careers strongly suggest that they should not have taken largely theoretical courses.
