DEVELOPING A NEW COURSE — 3: Practical approach to general studies

Abstract

The subject of liberal studies provokes many worthy theories but they often avoid the question of how a course should be set up in practice. At Hatfield Polytechnic the authors have developed a project which relates to the students' engineering studies and work outside college.
