Abstract

Too many people in Britain today are giving way to a temptation to assume that the economic crisis is for other people to solve. This temptation is natural enough but potentially fatal to our country. No individual is entitled to be contracted out of our national struggle. Nor are any of our public services. The overriding priorities for this country are to beat inflation and to pay our way in the world.
