Overcoming mental stress
Abstract
In the modern world we are all subjected to stresses and strain. The housewife living with small children in a high tower block, the operative doing the same repetitive job day in and day out, the middle executive threatened with the loss of his job through redundancy, the top manager squeezed by inflation — all find that pressures create anxieties which tend to become cumulative until they begin to affect their health.
