Personal qualities in management and supervision

Abstract

The human aspects of management and supervision have tended to become secondary to the technical and scientific in the last quarter century. We go on learning more and more about how to design flow lines, how to study work motions, organisation and assembly—and we become less and less concerned that people at work are people.
