Training Services to Employers: A New Approach
Abstract
To maintain competence and competitiveness faced with the new industrial revolution the MSCs Skillcentre Training Agencies (STA) must embrace new technologies, innovate and provide services customers want and can afford. The introduction of New Technology Access Centres within Skillcentres will provide basic hands‐on training in key areas. Flexibility is the prime consideration, providing updating and widening of skills as wed as basic grounding. Closer links with employers as local and national levels will allow Skillcentre managers increasingly to identify and meet training needs.
