VIVE LA DIFFERENCE: VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE FOR FRENCH ROBOT RESEARCH

Abstract

All the key topics currently occupying the robotics world, from parallel robots to off‐line programming, were discussed at a recent conference in Paris. Organised by the International Institute of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at Marseille, the conference presented the Government‐sponsored research of some 50 groups in France all of which are active in the field of robotics and production technology.
