Abstract

Preliminary investigations and design criteria Prior to the specification of any floor materials, the following data should be known — the chemical resistance, the type and the desired finish (ie smooth or anti‐slip), the magnitude and nature of loading, the subsequent unit operating temperatures, cleaning techniques and the mode of construction.
