PVC pipe wrapping Although many modern pipes come ready‐protected from the factories, removal of this protection for butt welding necessitates an alternative re‐protective method which is effective and quick to apply. John Gosheron & Co. Ltd., The Packaging and Industrial Tape Centre, 58–60 Kensington Church St., London W8, supply Polyvil PP.10 heavy duty pvc tape for this purpose. This form of anti‐corrosive wrapping is not only said to be comparatively cheap, but is also favoured by the operatives who apply it because of its clean handling and mess‐free application.
