A Review of Corrosion Resistant Linings

Abstract

Introduction There is more than sufficient information available to consultant, design, production and works engineers with respect to protective paint systems for the outside of vessels, but a very limited amount of literature readily accessible when one considers internal protection. Although BS CP 3003, and to some extent CP 2008 with BS 570. 2594, 2654 and 4950 assist with basic concepts, it has become apparent that many engineers would welcome brief non‐technical details of the range of linings available.
