Abstract

The dramatic increase in pipeline construction in and around the United Kingdom in recent years has created an upsurge in demand for protective coating. Factories designed for large‐scale treatment of internal and external surface of pipe stock have sprung up and there can be no doubt that the bulk of pipe coating work is now carried out in this type of specialised plant.
