(Norwegian Ombud for Equal Status between Men and Women Eva Kolstad is a chartered accountant by profession. She was chairman of the Norwegian Liberal Party 1974–76 and is a former Minister of Consumer Affairs and Government Administration. She has also long experience of working in feminist organisations and was Norway's representative on the UN Commission on the status of Women from 1969–1975.)
