Organisation and Business Development through Action Learning
Abstract
Organisational change in banking can be a difficult task, particularly considering the culture of bankers themselves. An innovative approach to achieve a total marketing orientation was adopted by Allied Irish Banks in conjunction with the International Management Centres. The commitment on the part of senior managers and a top down‐bottom up planning process was found to be critical to success.
