Abstract

PROVISION OF sufficient floor space to enable brickwork students to carry out practical work has always been a problem in technical colleges. Such students, whether they attend on a day‐release or an evening‐only basis, spend about 2½ hours in the bricklaying workshop each week, and some of the unfinished exercises must inevitably remain on the workshop floor until the students return to complete the task in the following week.
