Abstract

Are we training large numbers of professional and other skilled workers who, when they are fully trained, migrate overseas? And what sort of workers do we get in return? Is the labour force gaining or losing on balance as a result of migration? Answers to these questions, and many more like them, form the fascinating contents of the Sixth Report of the Overseas Migration Board, published recently.
