Abstract
“The house is still ringing with the excitement of the discussions of your students.” So wrote the Warden of a country house in Surrey, now used as an Adult Education Centre. He was referring to a discussion weekend organised by the Liberal Studies staff of Battersea College of Technology for over thirty students of science and technology.
