Notes and News: GCE AND FURTHER EDUCATION STATISTICS

Abstract

Part 2 of the Ministry's ‘Statistics of Education 1961’ gives results of the last GCE examinations, figures for school‐leavers at the end of the last full academic year, and the numbers and activities of students in Further Education at a point as recent as November 1961. This provision of up‐to‐date statistics will be widely welcomed.
