Abstract

THE PREVIOUS article in this series on the White Paper on Industrial Training sought to establish the importance of the over‐all body — the National Occupational Training Authority or NOCTA. At that stage in the argument the need for NOCTA was seen in terms of a co‐ordinating and integrating agency to draw together all the many bodies whose work relates to this field. A further need was seen in the fact that there are tasks which need to be carried out, but which do not fall within the province of the training boards.
