Abstract

Methods in Thermodynamics Experiments. Instrumentation in a thermodynamics laboratory can be divided into three categories: measurement of flow, of pressure and of temperature. The Rugby laboratory has been designed to include as many varieties of these — both ancient and modern — as possible. In general, examples of simple instrumentation have been confined to first‐year experiments.
