Abstract

A beautifully clear description of the phenomenon of polarisation is given in the newly revised version of the film Light Control Through Polarisation, which runs for 22 minutes. The film, in colour, starts with a brief look at the properties of light and shows the splitting of white light into its component colours by refraction through a prism. This is followed by animated diagrams which explain the use of polarising filters.
