Notes and News: COMMENTS ON THE TRAINING BILL

Abstract

The BEC state that the Bill “will provide a modern looking blueprint for industrial training and a sound framework within which future developments can be made. The actual responsibility for training will still lie — where it has always lain — with individual employers, but statutory ‘teeth’ will be available to ensure that all employers fully shoulder their responsibilities.
