Abstract

The recent Symposium on Electronics Laboratories (May, June and July issues) prompts me to report briefly an experiment in progress in Gloucester which may be of interest to those who also are convinced that there is need for much improvement in technical college laboratory practice. It is perhaps still a little premature to write at this stage since the experiment has had only one trial, so that what follows is by no means necessarily the best or only solution.
