Abstract

The question of the best form of training in operational research (O.R.) has been brought to the fore again recently (Cook 1965). Here, the author describes how a college (Rutherford College) and an industrial organization (Procter & Gamble Ltd) are co‐operating in a highly successful venture to provide an O.R. course which is believed to be the only one of its kind in existence.
