The numbers game

Abstract

Mr Short's recent removal of the secondary/primary class‐size differential has pleased nobody. The National Union of Teachers, who for so long have railed against its existence, believe that such a change will be non‐effective unless there is also some stipulation of a maximal class size common to both sectors.
