SCOTBEC rejects second∼class citizenship

Abstract

In his most interesting article TEC and the Tech (Education & Training, March 1975), Dr. Peace emphasised very strongly the need for the Technician Education Council of England and Wales to build up a series of technician awards which would be valuable and in most cases terminal in their own right. He stressed the gulf which had opened over the last 20 years between the Professional Institutes and Higher National Certificate/Diploma recognition.
