Abstract

With the present grave unemployment figures the transition from school to work has become a critical talking point. Young people leaving school are more than ever at a crucial point in their lives. Now they are confronted with more than just the difficult problem of adjusting to a new world quite different from the world of school. More than ever they need expert advice in making the transition, and a new film We Get Around shows how the Careers Service can help.
