Taylor‐made democracy for school government

Abstract

The latest extension to British democracy is that proposed in the Taylor Report on the Government of Schools. Most of the commentators seem to have missed a simple point: that a system not dissimilar to that recommended by Taylor has operated in further education for some years past.
