Abstract

A conference Management of Schools is being held at the University of York on Saturday 25 February organised by the College of Preceptors, which pioneered courses in school management for teachers in the post‐war period. The purpose of conference is to bring together those who would like to see the best parts of the Taylor Report implemented, and to give an opportunity for constructive criticisms to be made. Conference Secretary is Keith Megson, Headmaster, Culworth Middle School, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
