Abstract

A new Lex Service Group Training Centre opened in Banbury, Oxon is designed to provide a base for the company's central training operation, and will be available for use by individual Lex companies and other outside companies as a facility for their own training programmes and business meetings. The three‐floor purpose‐built centre has been designed to accommodate up to 75 trainees at a time — including all levels of employee — and houses seminar and lecture rooms plus a 40‐seat amphitheatre, all with the latest electronically‐controlled teaching equipment. A 60‐seat carvery‐style restaurant and full administrative services are also provided. The centre is within a 40‐mile radius of major business and industrial centres in the Midlands, London and the Home Counties. Courses are mainly residential and will last from one day to a week, with local Banbury hotels being used to house the large numbers of trainees who will pass through.
