Abstract

Ever‐rising labour costs and complicated employment laws have made it imperative to have the right people in the right jobs. Recruitment and Selection, a new guide issued by the Distributive Industry Training Board, seeks to provide a framework around which firms and businesses can develop recruitment and selection systems to meet their own needs. Selection interviews are dealt with in detail and the skills needed for carrying them out are discussed. Specimen forms, examples, and checklists are included. Price is 95p.
