Leadership in management — some popular theories reviewed

Abstract

Although the age of computers is upon us, there are very few managerial jobs where success in meeting targets can be achieved without the active co‐operation of others. This calls for leadership skills on the part of the manager, and a real understanding of the needs of those whose efforts are essential to achieving his goals.
