Examiners Reports — June 1983 (continued) Industrial Law — Advanced Diploma. Further general improvement in performance was registered. Within that overall improvement the standard was patchy, some centres presenting excellent candidates and others presenting candidates not only more mixed in quality but, in several cases, individuals well‐short of the ability required for the qualification. Questions 2, 3 and 4 were by far the most popular, and questions 2 and 3 were in general well answered. It was encouraging to see candidates attempting problem‐type questions and revealing their ability to apply the relevant law. Again, as last time, question 1 dealing with wider issues was less popular and in general less well‐handled. Question 5 was also not popular, and candidates rarely produced answers that contained much EEC material.
